Hard-faced KALMETALL steel pipes and bends for heavy impact, abrasion and temperature-change loads. The general range covers internal, external and combined hard-overlay welding with application-specific alloys and overlay thicknesses.

- Hardness: Up to 820 HV, depending on alloy
- Overlay: Standard 3–4 mm; special up to 18 mm
- Welding: Internal, external or combined
- Design: Seamless continuous spiral hardfacing
- Resistance: High impact, abrasion and thermal shock
- Structure: Lightweight, self-supporting steel system
- Temperature: Alloy-dependent; up to 750°C
